heyy, here's a poem dedicated to all my friends, including those i have yet to meet :0) i love you all! bong~

Siblings God forgot to give

When I was just a girl of eight
Granpa sat me on his lap, and said:
"Dear child, there is no need for tears,
just come to me and speak your fears."

how could I tell? I thought with dismay
as I slowly wiped my tears away,
to say I was sinking in lonesome despair
no brothers to love or sisters to share?

so I sat there sulking, like a spoilt little kid
but Granpa knew better, he always did
he hugged me tight, and whispered so:
"Child, there is something you must know

our God is great, but He forgets too
this one Father has much to do
with lives to save and mouths to feed
He cannot give all of us what we need
the siblings He made but forgot to send
He brought them down, and called them friends.
Dear girl, those children along the street
could just be friends you have yet to meet."

as the years passed, I grew to see
the siblings God had saved for me
Amazing beings in His ploy
to give me love and bring me joy.

At night, I pray to Him above
to thank Him for His undying love
for giving me hope, and letting me live
to see these siblings God forgot to give.
